
Say what you will about the way Apple is handling the iPhone 4 debacle, just don't say anything about the design of their stores. This Shanghai Apple store opened on July 10 and what a beauty she is. Architecture firm
Bohlin Cywinski Jackson not only designed this one, they were also the ones responsible for Apple's 5th Avenue flagship store in New York City. (Note the similarities - glass towers and glass stairways that descend to the stores below.) The New York flagship was recently featured in
New American Architecture: 10 Standout Buildings on CNN.
