Vintage Illustrations of the the World’s Greatest Footballers

Andrea Pirlo

With Euro 2012 just concluding and Spain arguably becoming the best team ever, we thought it was the perfect time to feature these awesome illustrations of the world's greatest footballers by Stanley Chow. The Manchester-based artist thinks that Pirlo was the player of the tournament and I'd be hard-pressed to disagree with him, especially with that brilliant chipped penalty shot against Germany in the semis.

Using his trademark minimalistic stye and bold colors, Chow portrays the footballers in their national or club team uniforms. If you want to put any of these prints up on your wall, you can score them at Chow's online store, here.
