Superhero Nursing Home (4 pics)

Looks like our favorite superheroes have finally grown old. Now, instead of flying around, taking down bad guys, and saving the world, they're spending their last few days at a nursing home made for Superheroes.

Superman leans on a walker, while Catwoman takes her afternoon nap. The Incredible Hulk, flabby and in tatters, vegetates in a wheelchair. Mr. Fantastic dangles his overstretched limbs, while Captain America lies comatose on a gurney, attended by a decrepit Wonder Woman.

These depressing life-like sculptures were created by contemporary artist Gilles Barbier, who currently lives and works in Marseille, France.
