Digital Cobwebs Magnificently Beautify Nature

Russian graphic designer and illustrator Tatiana Plakhova enjoys combining art and science. We were blown away by her futuristic vector illustrations here, and this time she charms us with her series entitled Biosphere. In the collection of images, Plakhova combines photographs with her signature, illustrated patterns.

The overlapping layers of natural, brilliant sunshine and vibrant colors, combined with elaborate, cobweb-like patterns seem to come alive on the page. Viewers will immediately feel consumed by the breathtaking scenes.

Plakhova intertwines reality-based photographs with a fabricated, complex network of dots and lines to create a new reality for her viewers. She says, “Chaos has its own structure, and each structure contains chaos. I am attracted by both characteristics. They are both inseparable and the basic laws of the world we live in.”
