"Where the Wild Things Are" Inspired Art Show

If you're a fan of Maurice Sendak's book, Where the Wild Things Are, check out this exhibition. Guest curated by Cory Godbey, creator of www.terribleyelloweyes.com, it will show a collection of artwork inspired by the beloved classic. You may remember a post back in June when we wrote about Terrible Yellow Eyes, a project to get modern day artists to draw their interpretations of the story.

It's a great way to get up close and personal with artwork you've seen online!

Cannot wait for this! I grew up going to Sendak exhibitions at a museum in Philly, and still consider him one of my main inspirations and reasons for getting into the creative industry. I love seeing all of the different takes on Where the Wild Things Are on the Terrible Yellow Eyes blog; this show is going to be fantastic!

For anyone in Philly, there is a permanent Sendak gallery at the Rosenbach, check it out here: http://www.rosenbach.org/exhibitions/sendakgallery.html
